Infinite Ascent (8 Trompeten)

This music was commissioned by the Kansas State University Department of Music, Dr. Gary Mortenson (Dept. Chair), for premier performance by the university trumpet ensemble. The title "Infinite Ascent" was inspired by a favorite popular children's story. The piece is designed for 8 B-flat trumpets (arranged in two groups of 4 players).
