“Koppången” is written by Pererik Moreaus, known as violinist in the Swedish folk music group Orsa Spelmän.
The song is inspired of- and has got it’s name after the nature Reserve Koppången located near Orsa, Sweden.
The song was originally an instrumental tune written for Orsa Spelmän. However, with lyrics by Py Bäckman, the song has been an even greater success through recordings and performances by artists like Helen Sjöholm, Sissel Kyrkjebø, Elisabeth Andreasson and Anne Sofie von Otter.
This arrangement is written for Vocal- or Flute solo with Concert Band.
“Koppången” is also published for Bb- or Eb-soloist with Concert Band arranged by Svein H. Giske.
