Miserere (from the Opera "Il Travatore")

Giuseppe Verdi's romantic opera 'Il Trovatore' lives by its streams of memorable melodies. One of those is the the 'Miserere' wich is placed in the fourth and final act. A chorus of monks begins chanting a 'miserere' (have mercy) for a dead soul in the background. Leonora begins to tremble with fear and then hears Manrico (who is inside the prison) sing of his love for her.
